March 23rd, 2020: Day 7 of my Absolute, Now-Government-Mandated Quarantine//Day 13 of my School’s Earlier, Precautionary One.

Today, I added my boxing gloves back into the mix. They’ve been gathering dust for some time now, as I opted for a more standard style of fitness after starting art school, but now they’re one with the pile off to the side of my living room: boxing gloves, day planners, art supplies, and a Tolkien encyclopedia.
My Co–Star horoscope today recommended I sit beside something green and allow it to recharge me.
So, I did.
The bag of jalapeno chips really helped – I’m feeling very alive again.
I’ve also been drinking too much coffee lately. Between that, and this afternoon’s incident with the chips, I’m starting to fantasize about how good it’ll be to have my wraps and gloves back on later tonight, and sweat properly again.
It’s not all bad, though.
I have three fresh vegetable soups sitting in my fridge and slow cooker, and I’ve been drinking tons of water (or at least attempting to). I applied to a fellowship that may or may not actually occur now. I nerded out with my friends over a Discord call, and then my Pisces friend actually showed up for our scheduled videochat in the evening. I have a ton of homework to do – I’ll probably start that just as soon as I post this.
I also took a few minutes to write this. I suppose that’s still worth something, especially in a period when so little is going on at home.
